There's plenty of action and hijinks as our 'rookie' heroes take to the streets and began to solve everything in their path, whilst slowly making head way on the crime they initially went to investigate. I actually really enjoyed this, given it's mediocre reviews and thought it at least on a par with Crime Busters (maybe I need to watch Crime Busters again, soon!). That is until he is tricked into joining the force and reluctantly agrees to help, as the heroes team up once more as undercover rookies, in order to bring the villains to justice. The only problem being that Steve is a rather grumpy fellow who wants nothing to do with Doug or the police force. The man who originally worked with him on the case years before. But in order to get his man/men Doug knows his only chance lies in re-recruiting his ex-partner Steve. To him this is a personal score to settle, believing those guilty, are the same baddies who escaped having their collar felt by his hands 7yrs earlier. When a bank robber is released from prison after 7yrs and then murdered, special agent Doug Bennett vows to catch those responsible whatever the cost.
